The questions owners ask most. If yours isn't here, email info@getfoundrly.com and a human replies within one business day.

Getting started

  • It looks at how your business shows up when a customer searches for what you do. We check your Google Business Profile for missing information, whether your business category is set correctly, how many photos you have and how recent they are, and how often you post. We check your reviews: how many, how new, and how many you have replied to. Then we check where you rank against nearby competitors for the searches your customers actually use. It takes about a minute, it is free, and you get a score out of 100 with the specific gaps costing you work.

run your free report · how the score works

  • About fifteen minutes, once. You type your business name, we scan it, and you confirm a few details we already found rather than filling in forms. Then you connect your Google Business Profile so we can fix what is broken. After that there is nothing to set up. Most owners spend under a minute a day in Foundrly, and on plenty of days they do not open it at all.

    how it works

  • No. If you can use your phone, you can use Foundrly. There is nothing to install on a computer, no settings to configure, and no marketing knowledge required. We built this for people who are on a ladder or under a sink, not sitting at a desk. Every morning you get a short summary of what we did overnight. You tap approve, or you ignore it, and either way the work gets done.

  • We fix what we can while you sleep. That usually means completing missing information on your Google Business Profile, correcting your business category (the single most common reason a business does not show up in local search), adding your services and hours, uploading photos, publishing your first post, and drafting replies to reviews that were never answered. In the morning you get one message showing exactly what changed and how your score moved.

what exactly will Foundrly change on my profile

Your Google profile

  • Because we do the work rather than telling you what to do. To correct your categories, complete your information, publish posts, and reply to reviews, Google requires an account with manager access to your profile. We ask for manager access, not ownership. You stay the owner. You can see everything we do, and you can remove our access directly from your Google account at any time without going through us.

what data does Foundrly collect · what exactly will Foundrly change

  • Your business categories, your services and their descriptions, your hours including holiday hours, your service area, attributes like licensed or free quotes, your photos, your business description, weekly posts, replies to reviews, and answers to questions customers ask on your profile. We do not change your business name, address, or phone number. We never add keywords to your business name, because Google can suspend a profile for that. Every change is listed in your account.

can I undo something Foundrly changed

  • Yes. Every change is recorded with what it was before, so you can put anything back. If a post or a reply does not sound like you, open it, tell us what was off, and we will fix it. That correction also teaches Foundrly your voice, so the next one lands closer. Nothing we do is permanent or hidden from you.

  • Profile fixes apply immediately, but Google takes time to reflect them. Most businesses see movement in two to four weeks, and the effect of reviews and consistent posting builds from there. Anyone promising you the top spot in a week is guessing: Google states plainly that you cannot pay for better local ranking. What we do is fix the things Google says it actually measures, which are how complete and accurate your information is, how active your profile is, and how you handle reviews. Your weekly report shows where you rank and what changed.

how the score works · owner's playbook: why you are not in the map pack

Posts and reviews

  • Yes, and that is deliberate. Every draft is scheduled to publish the same evening and appears in your morning summary before it goes out. If you do nothing, it ships. If you want to change it or stop it, you can. We built it this way because the owners we interviewed do not have time to approve things, and a post that waits for approval usually never goes out at all. You stay in control. You just do not have to do anything to stay consistent.

how do I stop a post before it goes out

  • Open the post from your daily summary and tap Stop this post. It will not publish. You can also tweak it instead: tell us what is wrong (wrong tone, wrong photo, wrong offer) and we will rewrite it, or edit the text yourself. If you would rather approve everything before anything publishes, you can turn that on in your settings.

  • Foundrly drafts them and you have the final say. We learn how you sound from the way you already talk to customers: your own past review replies, your website, and how you describe your work. Each reply responds to what that customer actually said instead of repeating the same template. You can edit any of them, and every edit teaches Foundrly your voice, so you end up editing less over time.

  • Yes, by asking properly. After a completed job we send a short request with a direct link, timed for when a customer is most likely to respond. What we will not do is choose who gets asked. Google prohibits asking only your happy customers, and buying reviews or offering something in exchange can get your profile suspended. So we ask everyone, we ask well, and we make sure every review that comes in gets a reply, which is itself a ranking signal.

owner's playbook: how to ask for reviews without feeling pushy

Billing and account

  • Your visibility report, your score, and your first overnight fix are free, and they stay free. You will keep getting your weekly score by email whether or not you pay. Paid plans cover the ongoing work: weekly posts, replies to every new review, your listings kept in sync across Google, Bing, and Apple Maps, and monitoring that catches problems before they cost you customers. Current prices are on our pricing page.

    pricing

  • Open Profile, tap Plan and billing, then cancel. Two taps. There is no phone call, no retention email, and nobody who will try to talk you out of it. Your plan runs to the end of the period you have already paid for, and you will not be charged again.

what happens to my profile if I cancel

  • Everything we fixed stays fixed. Your categories, information, photos, and published posts remain on your Google Business Profile, because it is your profile and not ours. What stops is the ongoing work: no new posts, no review replies, no listing sync, no monitoring. You keep your free report and your weekly score. We do not remove work we have already done, and if you come back later you will not start over.

Privacy and data

  • The information needed to run your marketing. That means your business details such as services, hours, and service area; what is publicly listed on your Google Business Profile and your website; your reviews and how you respond to them; and the results of the work we do, like how many people found you, called, or asked for directions. If you connect another tool, we only read what the features you turned on actually need. We do not collect information about your customers beyond what is already public in their reviews.

do you share my business data with anyone

  • No. We do not sell your data and we do not use it to train models for anyone else. We pass information to the services required to do the work, for example to Google when we update your profile or publish a post, and nothing beyond that. Your business information exists in Foundrly to run your business, and that is all it is used for.

  • Delete your account in Profile, or email info@getfoundrly.com and ask us to do it. We remove your data within 30 days. You can also remove Foundrly's access to your Google Business Profile directly from your Google account at any time, without waiting for us. Anything already published to your profile stays there, because it belongs to you.
